Dear FoxTrot Food Vendor:

 

The 29th Marion FoxTrot festival will be held on Saturday, May 20th, 2023!  Of course you are a very important part of the festival.  With the large number of hungry people expected to attend, there should be a great opportunity for you to have a successful day.

RULES AND REGULATION

  • Fee - $300.00 (without electricity) $325.00(with electricity) ….Do not mail fee and application after May 6th.  You must call Lisa Seabrook (843) 617-8723 ensure there is a space available and you must bring the $300.00 fee in cash.  A receipt will be given.

  • Food vendors must be set up and ready for DHEC inspection by 9:00 a.m.  

Alone with your application and fee, you must send a copy of your insurance and business license.  If you do not have a South Carolina business license, you will be able to purchase one on site for $50 from an IRS representative.  These licenses will be good for one (1) year in South Carolina.

  • Set Up will begin on Friday night after 7:00 p.m.  ONLY IF your space is available (no car parked in space).  WE WILL NOT NOR CAN NOT ASK SOMEONE TO MOVE THEIR CAR UNTIL 6:00 A.M. SATURDAY MORNING.)

  • The sale of food must stop at 7:00 p.m. and you are completely off the street by 8:00 p.m.  You can stop selling before 7 pm if it takes longer than one  hours to breakdown.

  • Water will be provided at several locations.  No one vendor will have exclusive rights to the water source

  • All vendors MUST provide a menu and price list in full – EYE VIEW.  

  • Trash cans will be provided and serviced for each vendor.  You will not be allowed to put trash on the street

  • If using a grill or any other equipment that uses oil to prepare your food, you must place some type of container under the equipment to catch any oil that may leak.  Vendors not following these guidelines or is caught dumping ANY substances down the street drain will be fined no less than $300.00 by the Marion City Police Department.  There will be Street Sanitary workers at festival to help with any of your trash remove issues.

  • Vendors cannot place any of their items on the sidewalk behind their booth.  Please request enough space to place all items on the sides of your booth. 

  • Vendors can sell sodas, water, tea and lemonade, but no alcohol of any type will be sold

  • The Marion FoxTrot Festival is a family oriented community event, therefore profanity, fighting and alcohol will not be tolerated.
